End Professional Burnout: Become More Energized and Less Stressed | Liz Aguirre
All too often, ambitious professionals reach their goals only to find themselves overworked, exhausted, burned out, and resentful. Working hard and pushing our limits is necessary for growth, but not when it’s at the expense of our health and happiness. In this talk, Dr. Liz Aguirre shares the key steps she took to become more energized, and more productive and achieve greater success while ending the burnout trap once and for all. Dr. Liz Aguirre is a physician and entrepreneur who has reinvented herself multiple times. Growing up in poverty taught her the importance of grit and hard work which served her well as she worked to obtain her medical degree. However, like many healthcare professionals she struggled with professional burnout. Through a renewed commitment to self-care and self-compassion she was able to heal and has found herself leading others to do the same. Dr. Aguirre is a graduate of The University of Texas San Antonio, completed her medical degree at Texas A&M College of Medicine and her internal medicine residency at Baylor Scott & White in Texas.
