What Would You Give of Yourself to Be Someone's Hero? | Audrey Holmgren

What are the questions you have in life stopping you from being great during your time on this earth? What are the answers you need to seek in order to be someone else's hero? In this talk, Audrey highlights the biggest decision of her life, the decision to become a kidney donor, and the decision process she took in order to confidently say YES to living organ donation. Audrey is a local artist and business leader in the Pikes Peak Region of Colorado. In 2019, she made the decision to donate her kidney to a friend, and since then, has become passionate about living kidney donor education. Audrey is a graduate of the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs with a degree in Business Management, and a minor in Entrepreneurship. She has lived in Colorado almost all of her life and is devout in helping local residents navigate the kidney donation process. In her free time, she is either playing in the mountains with her family, or she is at her piano creating music. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
